As part of Forestry England’s commitment to sustainability, they tasked us with creating an aerial video of their new quarry, highlighting how resources from the quarry are used within the forest itself. The film was to be used internally as a case study to future sites across the country.

This was an opportunity for us to get creative with aerial video! From a visual aesthetic we knew the quarry would look incredible from the air and it would be the best way for us to show the quarry within its forest surroundings.
The cinematic film we produced used sweeping aerial shots with a combination of a powerful musical score and nature sound effects to present the quarry in a way that Forestry England had not been able to capture before.
Our aerial pilot utilised the versatility of the drone to capture footage at height, alongside dynamic low shots of the machinery to keep viewers engaged. Shot selection is especially important with drone only videos to keep the attention of the viewer and prompt engagement.
